HSE publishes simplification report
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published its Second Simplification Plan, which outlines the progress it has made this year in making it easier for businesses to comply with health and safety law.
It is part of the Government's better regulation agenda to reduce the costs to business of complying with legal requirements.
Improvements in the last year include the discontinuation of more than 50% of the HSE's forms, which it says are no longer necessary.
The report can be downloaded from the HSE's website.
