London shops see poor growth
London retail sales are growing at their slowest rate for just over two years.
Figures from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) reveal that November's like-for-like sales in the capital grew by just 0.4% in November, compared to a 8.5% increase a year earlier.
European shoppers were the main spenders but American and Japanese visitors were put off by the weakness of the dollar and the yen against the pound.
