Inflation rate unchanged
Inflation was unchanged at 2.1% last month, according to figures released today (Tuesday) by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The rate remained unchanged as high fuel prices were offset by lower gas and electricity bills.
The figure - the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) - does not include mortgage repayments. It still remains above the Government's 2% target, the BBC reported.
