Business crime increase
Firms are being urged to ensure they secure their premises properly over the Christmas break because of an increase in business crimes.
There has been a 20% increase in the number of crime-related settlements to businesses in the last year, according to insurer AXA.
It said the average settlement was around £4,000. The main reasons businesses claimed was because of arson attacks, malicious damage and break-ins.
Bradford saw the most business-related claims in the three months to September, followed by Bristol, Cardiff and Derby, icBirmingham reported.
