Green ideas win incubator accommodation
Three small enterprises in the North West have won the opportunity to move into an incubator to turn their environmentally focused business ideas into a reality.
Kenneth Cheung will develop organic fertilisers from recycled food waste, Eddie Sammon and Andrew Glover are working on biofuel and Becky Toal is putting together an environment, ethics and corporate social responsibility management consultancy.
They all won their places as part of their prizes for the 2007 Business Creation Competition run by Lancaster University's Environment Centre.
The new incubator was partially funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA.)
