Easing the burden on small firms
A business lobby group is calling on the Government to follow the example of the Scottish Parliament, which has promised to ease the financial burden on small businesses.
The Forum of Private Business (FPB) is backing Scotland's proposal to reduce or remove rates bills for around 150,000 small business properties.
It says the UK Government should look at a similar scheme to help small businesses in England and Wales.
