Postal settlement agreed
The long-running dispute between the Communications Workers' Union (CWU) and the Royal Mail has come to an end, after CWU members agreed to a deal on pay and conditions.
The union's membership voted by 64% in favour of the deal, which will see them receive a 6.9% pay rise over two years.
The CWU said it had contacted Royal Mail asking for the pay increases, lump sum and back pay to be incorporated into pay before Christmas.
The dispute disrupted postal services during the summer.
