Poor recruitment decisions cost UK businesses
New research has revealed that bad recruitment choices can end up costing the UK economy as much as £5 billion.
Recruitment assessment firm Talent Q, which carried out the study, says that the huge deficit is due to a decrease in productivity equivalent to £2,400 a year for each worker hired without being assessed effectively.
A spokesman for Talent Q said that people employed after being assessed for the right aptitude and personality were better and more productive, Onrec reported.
