Trojan exploits software vulnerabilities
Businesses using Abode Systems Inc Reader and Acrobat software are being warned about a malicious PDF document being sent out to exploit bugs in these programs.
The PDF is attached to a spam e-mail and carries a filename such as YOUR_BILL.pdf or YOUR_INVOICE.pdf.
Users running Internet Explorer 7 browser on XP or Windows Server 2003 can be affected by the problem.
Adobe released patches to deal with vulnerabilities in the two programs, but the Trojan Horse virus downloaded by the rogue PDF is still able to exploit them, PC World reported.
