Saving the planet in an hour a week
Welsh businesses are being urged to put aside an hour a week to think about how they can reduce their impact on the environment.
That's the message from Government-backed sustainability experts Envirowise, which was reacting to its recent survey. The research found a quarter of Welsh firms claimed they could only spare an hour a week to think about the environment, while 12% said they had no time at all to consider green issues.
But Envirowise claims it doesn't take long to make positive changes.
A spokesman said:
"There are all kinds of simple improvements that can be made in 60 minutes. For instance, why not quickly check water pipes for leaks and make a phone call to get them repaired?"
There are more tips on what action firms could take on the Envirowise website.
