Start ups put off by red tape
Potential entrepreneurs are being put off from starting their own businesses because of concerns about red tape and the fear of failure.
Around 45% of people who have thought about starting an enterprise told a survey for Dickinson Dees law firm that they had been put off by the legal requirements.
Among the 25 to 34 year olds questioned, 29% said they were worried about failure if they started a business, The Times reported.
Dickinson Dees said potential entrepreneurs in Britain face an environment which puts them off at the first hurdle.
