New Global Standards to be published
Revised standards for food and packaging manufacturers are to be published by the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
Its Global Standards for Food Safety and for Packaging and Packing Materials will be released in the New Year.
The standards have been adopted by around 10,000 businesses in more than 80 countries. The new editions include greater focus on analysis of potential hazards and new specially designed training courses.
