Google is top search engine
Google accounted for more than half of the Internet search requests carried out globally during August.
It powered 37 billion of the 61 billion searches carried out that month, according to research by analysts comScore.
The figure was higher than all of the other search engines added together, the BBC reported.
Yahoo! was the second most popular search engine, followed by the Chinese language search engine Baidu.
