Fuel duty rise provokes anger
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) says the UK's trade is being handicapped by the latest fuel duty increase.
The duty on fuel went up by 2p per litre yesterday, which the RHA says benefits foreign hauliers operating in the UK, because they have access to cheap fuel in their own countries.
The RHA is calling for the duty increases to be given back to hauliers in the form of a rebate.
Meanwhile, the Petrol Retailers Association (PRA) warned that more filling stations would be forced out of business, Ananova reported.
