Brits to be biggest festive online shoppers
British shoppers are expected to spend more on Internet shopping this Christmas than any other European nation, parting with £14 billion buying online gifts.
The figures come from researcher Forrester, which predicted that Europe-wide, £35 billion will be spend on Internet shopping this festive season - a rise of 58% on last year.
Forrester said UK consumers' increased confidence in and familiarity with the Internet was behind the surge in shopping, The Guardian reported.
