West Midlands seeks image boost
A conference is being organised to boost the image of the West Midlands as a good place to do business, ahead of the 2012 London Olympics.
The idea was announced by Birmingham MP and Minister for the West Midlands Liam Byrne, after a fringe meeting at the Labour Party Conference which looked at ways to improve the area's economy.
The event, which will take place in November, will involve representatives from the business, tourism and cultural sectors, icBirmingham reported.
