Update issued for tax agents
A regular electronic update has been launched to keep tax agents abreast of what is happening in their sector.
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) says Agent Update will be a bi-monlthly publication summarising recent tax announcements, publications and information of interest to agents.
The first edition contains information on dealing with businesses affected by the summer flooding and foot and mouth disease as well as new money laundering regulations.
It will be distributed on HMRC's behalf by trade and professional bodies, and published on HMRC's website.
