Scottish start ups reach record high
The number of new enterprises opening for business has reached a record level in Scotland.
A buoyant economy and a growing entrepreneurial culture were credited with lifting the numer of Scottish start ups to 8,365 in the three months to the end of June.
The figures, from the Committee of Scottish Clearing Bankers, showed a 32% increase compared to the same period last year, The Scotsman reported.
