Market strong for freelance designers
Freelance designers are enjoying a purple patch, despite the problems in the financial markets.
They are reaping the rewards of a buoyant market, according to the latest salary survey by Design Week magazine.
It said overall rates of pay had "increased considerably" both inside and outside of London, especially where there are skills shortages.
Digital and packaging are attracting the best rates as there are fewer designers trained in these areas.
