FSB calls for road toll end
The rest of the UK is being urged to follow Scotland's example and outlaw road tolls.
The Scottish Parliament has just published a bill to get rid of the charges, which the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is applauding.
It said road transport is fundamental to business. Removing road tolls will reduce the overall cost to business and remove barriers to growth, according to the FSB.
A spokesman said:
"This move would free up businesses to grow and create more jobs. The resulting economic growth would generate more funds for the Government to spend on more and better roads."It should be a priority for this Government to achieve as soon as possible."
