Business Link questioned by ACCA
Business Link has been criticised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in its submission to the Government on simplifying business support.
ACCA said Business Link's remit should be changed and the organisation should be better marketed to increase awareness.
An ACCA spokesman told icBirmingham that businesses were not getting the support they needed due to a "complex and schizophrenic" business support structure.
He added that Business Link should become mainly an information provider and should not duplicate existing support services.
