UK is European ready meals capital
Britons are eating more ready meals than any other European country and the appetite for them is continuing to grow.
Ready meals carrying 'good for you' labels have helped lift them as consumers search for healthier foods, according to a report by analysts Mintel.
It found the UK's ready meals market is now worth £2 billion annually and it is predicted to reach £2.5 billion in the next five years, Ananova reported.
