Shops selling alcohol to children targeted
Shops selling alcohol to underage children are being targeted in a campaign in North East England.
People living in Northumberland and Tyne and Wear are being asked to report offending shops by calling 101, a number usually reserved for reporting anti-social behaviour.
Retailers found guilty of selling alcohol to under-18s face a maximum fine of £5,000 and first time offenders can have their licence suspended.
