Flood help for South West firms

Up to £2 million is being made available by the South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) to help smaller businesses recover from the floods.

It will be used to develop and implement business recovery plans. Money could also be available to help with clean up costs and to pay for temporary business accommodation.

A SWRDA spokesman said:

"This scheme will enable business advisers to work with companies to establish what urgent requirements businesses may have to help them move forward again."
