Alternative Awards for North East businesses
Businesses in the North East are looking forward to the region's Alternative Business Awards.
The contest has categories including Nice Guy/Gal, New Kid on the Block and the Robin Hood award for services to the community, The Journal reported.
The awards, now in their tenth year, raise money for the Percy Hedley Foundation, a charity supporting disabled people.
The ceremony takes place on 7 September.
