East Midlands Tourist Board plans tourism future
East Midlands Tourism is canvassing opinion on where investment in tourism should be targeted.
Professionals across the East Midlands are being asked for their views on a series of recommendations, which include investing in the tourism potential of Robin Hood, development of the M1 business corridor and developing wildlife tourism along the coast.
Richard Dickinson, chief executive of East Midlands Tourism, said:
"This consultation is important because it will enable us to gather opinion on how we can accurately determine investment priorities. It will give us the opportunity to put a strategy in place that identifies key investment areas and ultimately allows us to make the most of the region's undoubted assets."
