Business owners unaware of Small Firms Loan Guarantee
Business owners are increasingly unaware of the Small Firms Loan Guarantee (SFLG), according to new figures.
The figures, from factoring firm Venture Finance, revealed that the SFLG is known to just 37% of business owners. More than half reported that they were aware of the scheme two years ago, according to Freelance UK.
The fall in uptake is thought to be linked to changes in the eligibility criteria of the scheme.
The SFLG allows businesses to borrow up to £250,000 over ten years.
