Customers disappointed with broadband suppliers

More than a quarter of customers are unhappy with their broadband supplier, according to a survey.

Plusnet, a small firm owned by BT, was named as the overall top package, while free services from Orange and Carphone Warehouse's TalkTalk were bottom of the satisfaction table drawn up for comparison website uSwitch.

The survey, carried out by YouGov, found that levels of satisfaction had fallen by 10% in the last year.

Tiscali and Orange saw customer satisfaction levels drop the most, The Guardian reported.
