Free laptops offered by broadband suppliers
Broadband customers are being offered new laptops in a bid to persuade them to sign up to a different service provider.
AOL, which is part of the Carphone Warehouse group, is giving a £500 Dell laptop to customers who agree to sign up to its broadband service for two years. The deal will cost £19.99 a month and £15 for the laptop delivery.
Customers can pre-register for the deal at the AOL website.
Orange is offering a deal with electrical retailer Currys, whereby customers who switch to its broadband service will receive £300 off any laptop in its high street stores. Again, you will be required to sign a two-year contract, priced at £14.99 a month, The Guardian reported.
