Firms warned over disaster planning

Smaller businesses in Norfolk are failing to plan how they would cope with crises caused by terror attacks, floods and other unforeseen disasters.

A number of events are taking place around the county following the terror attack in Glasgow and the floods in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

It is feared that many smaller firms, including tourism and retail businesses, do not realise the grave consequences of such unforeseen events which could ultimately lead to them struggling to survive in the long term, the Eastern Daily Press reported.
