Edinburgh incubators celebrate success
Two business incubators in Edinburgh are celebrating after generating more than double the targets they were set.
The incubators in Craigmillar and North Edinburgh generated more than £6 million for the local economy in the last financial year, beating targets set by the European Regional Development Fund.
The incubators, which offer a walk-in service to support and advise young entrepreneurs, have helped launch 700 new businesses and to create or safeguard 1,352 jobs, The Scotsman reported.
A third incubator has just been launched in the west of the city.
