A £1.4 million loan fund has been set up to offer low interest rate loans to people unable to access traditional sources of finance, such through as banks and building societies.

The Leeds Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) programme, the Business Enterprise Fund and Leeds Credit Union put together the fund to encourage enterprise in the poorest parts of the city.
