Training money for Merseyside businesses
Small businesses on Merseyside are being offered funding to help train their staff.
A number of organisations came together to form the Mersey Skills Network. They put together a successful bid to the Learning and Skills Council and European Social Fund for subsidised training worth £4 million.
Businesses with up to 250 staff are eligible to apply for the funding, which will be available for one year, icLiverpool reported.
