Firms face online attacks
Almost half of small businesses (44%) say they have been victims of cyber crime, according to research by the Get Safe Online organisation.
More than a third (36%) had been affected by computer viruses, and 18% by scams such as identity fraud, phishing, spyware, or hacking in the last two years.
IT failure would cause 60% of the firms surveyed to 'grind to a halt', the report said.
