Mobile phone talk time 'wasted'
Mobile phone users are wasting an estimated 1,700 years of free talk time each month.
Confusion about mobile packages has led to nine out of ten people saying they felt short-changed by their phone contracts, according to new service provider Noodle.
It found that three-quarters of people did not make sufficient calls to justify their monthly contract, or conversely, they regularly go over their monthly minute allowance.
However, the figures also showed that pay-as-you-go mobile phones are the most popular in the UK, with 55% of mobile users opting for this type of service, Ananova reported.
