Lighten the load to be week's theme
Manual handling and Muscularskeletal Disorder (MSD), the most common causes of occupational ill health, will be the focus of an annual health and safety campaign run by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work.
'Euroweek', which is supported by the HSE and the Trades Union Congress (TUC), aims to 'lighten the load' through training.
Checklists and support material will be made available to help safety representatives pass on the message.
The week takes place from 22 to 26 October.
