The £3 million development in Darlington has already let more than half of its space to small businesses. Parent company Evans Easyspace expects the centre to be operating at full capacity within a few weeks, providing workspace for around 225 people, The Northern Echo reported.

The Darlington centre is one of seven such developments in the region and one of 50 nationwide.

The company recently opened a £2 million development in nearby Newton Aycliffe.
