Ribble Valley MP named most business-friendly
Nigel Evans, MP for the Ribble Valley, has been named as the most business-friendly MP by the Forum of Private Business (FPB).
He beat seven other MPs and MEPs to the title, which is now in its second year, and recognises politicians who have excelled in understanding smaller businesses and meeting their needs.
The FPB said Mr Evans had drawn on his own experience of working in, and owning, a small business in his work as an MP.
