Internet creates 'want it now culture' for firms
British businesses have created a 'want it now' culture, where there is no time for waiting around.
That's according to a report highlighting the demand for faster responses among business customers, who also resent 'dead' time spent travelling on work business or waiting for meetings to start. This costs smaller firms an average of £60,000 annually, report author T-Mobile said.
It said that the 'want it now' culture was due to the Internet, and people's expectations of an immediate response to their enquiries, icBirmingham reported.
