Green tourist enterprises scoop awards
Small businesses with green credentials have been honoured for their part in bringing in tourists to the north east.
The Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) presented awards to businesses from farm cottages to large tourist organisations, the Northern Echo reported.
The GTBS champions sustainable tourism and helps businesses to look at their impact on the environment.
