Geldof to address businesses in Yorkshire
Businesses in Yorkshire are being offered the chance to hear Sir Bob Geldof speak on literally a flying visit to the region.
The Live Aid star will address the Yorkshire International Business Convention in Harrogate on 8 June, between sessions at the G8 summit in Germany.
A private jet has been chartered so he can fly to Yorkshire, then jet straight back again once he has spoken to the conference.
Sir Bob has been drafted in as a last-minute replacement for former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, who had to cancel due to "urgent political business", the Yorkshire Evening Post reported.
