Internet boosts start ups with disabilities
The Internet is being heralded as a breakthrough by people with disabilities keen to start up in business.
People with both physical and learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, have been able to start firms more easily due to the spread of broadband, The Times reported.
The charity Leonard Cheshire runs the Ready to Start scheme, which aims to help 600 people with disabilities start their own businesses. It provides advice, remote training, funding and mentoring.
