Music affects conference experience
Business owners say they often come away from conferences and meetings feeling unmotivated - and poor musical choice by the organisers is often the reason why.
'Things can only get better' by D:Ream topped a poll of the least inspirational or over-used songs, followed by 'Simply the best' by Tina Turner and 'Proud' by M People.
The survey, by Best Western Hotels' First Place group, found 40% of conference-goers said poorly chosen music gave them a negative view of what a speaker was saying.
