InBiz unveils new figures
A business start up organisation operating in the north east has released its latest figures as it bids to help create 10,000 jobs and set up 7,500 firms in the next five years.
In the first year of its five-year plan, Stockton-on-Tees-based InBiz helped set up 269 businesses. Of these, 202 were started by men and a sixth were started by people aged over 50.
InBiz is partnering with a number of other organisations, including local authorities and the Prince's Trust, in the five-year plan, which is called Project 10k, The Northern Echo reported.
