Barclays offers more advice workshops

Barclays is putting on a series of free events for small businesses as part of its efforts to improve their chances of surviving.

Entrepreneurship guru Robert Craven has been recruited to deliver the workshops on marketing and making bigger profits.

Barclays said that 50% of small businesses close after three years of trading and these events would help them to build firm foundations for the future.

A spokesman said:

"By holding these free events it gives business owners the opportunity to learn the essential skills to grow their business and ensure their venture continues to be a successful and profitable business."

The 'Let's talk bright marketing' and 'Let's talk more profit' events expand on Barclays' existing suite of 'Let's talk' workshops, and run from the end of April through to July. See all the dates and venues on the Barclays website.
