Designer creates recyclable tents
A designer has come up with a range of solar-powered, recyclable tents for the festival-going generation.
James Dunlop was inspired to design the Myhab after hearing that organisers of big festivals like Glastonbury throw away 10,000 tents every year.
He has secured £500,000 from finance group Mint to launch the two-person, cardboard tents. The Myhabs have been waterproofed, have an inside solar-powered light and a lockable compartment for valuables. They'll cost £60-£100 to rent for a weekend, The Independent reported.
