Free workspace for Chinese businesses
Chinese businesses thinking about establishing a presence in the UK are being offered free workspace in London.
Serviced office company Avanta, in partnership with Think London, the capital's foreign direct investment agency, is offering office space to Chinese firms free of charge, for a limited time.
The 'Touchdown London' service will help businesses develop their case for establishing a base in London, by providing experienced support professionals - including those fluent in Mandarin - who can offer advice.
David Alberto, chief executive of Avanta, said in a press release:
"We all know that China is one of the fastest growing world markets and is becoming increasingly important in the global marketplace. Think London is working hard to maintain close relationships with their business community, promoting London as the place from which to build their business in Europe."
