Young Nottingham entrepreneurs win awards

Teenagers participating in the Nottingham final of the Young Enterprise scheme have been rewarded for their hard work.

Students from 12 schools attended an awards ceremony to discover who had been awarded the overall accolade and who would be eligible for entering the next stage of the competition, as reported by the Nottingham Evening Post.

The three best finalists entering the next round are: Mad Cow Media, which produced a CD featuring local bands; Virtue, a college jewellery business; and a venture called Talicus.

Young Enterprise is a UK-wide charity that supports and encourages young people aged 16-18 to start up in business.
