BiB Insurance, based in Darlington, County Durham, won £100 in the Best of Business competition in the town's Best of Darlington Awards, which recognise the best in art, sport, education, business and the community.

The firm, which has an active team that raises money for charity, donated the cash to the Friends of Darlington Memorial Hospital's appeal to raise £53,000 to buy an eye scanner.
