Children's education business to expand

A small business is helping children who have been shut out of mainstream education to meet their potential.

Computer programs that children can access via a specially designed network of laptops are used to teach school pupils about social skills, motivation, empathy and self-awareness.

The business has been put together by True Alternative, which is investing £50,000 into the enterprise and taking on more staff because of interest in its training methods.

Its mobile network of computers can be taken into classrooms across the UK, icNewcastle reported.
